Little about Nate:
Nathan William Crandell began his life in Southern California until he was seven years old. In 1989 he and his family moved to Provo Utah where they still live. Nate is the oldest of five children, with two brothers and two sisters. He graduated from Orem High School in 2000. After high school he spent a semester at HTI in Phoenix, and a semester at UVSC. He served a faithful mission in Edmonton Alberta Canada from August 2001 to August 2003. When he returned he attended Utah Valley State College where he met the girl of his dreams, Taryn. Summer of 2004 he moved to Texas to sell some pest control, wasn’t happy and missed Taryn so he returned to Utah…for a short time. He had a good job offer in Northern California with his brother and left that same summer to go run a custom car shop. In the fall of 2005 when Taryn returned to Utah, Nate followed. He moved to Holladay Utah and began searching for the perfect job…He later moved to Sandy and after many jobs found the perfect fit. In October of 2005 he began working for Fastenal and loves it. He finally decided to “settle” in Lehi after asking Taryn to marry him in the summer of 2006.
Little about Taryn:
Taryn Donelle Smith was born and raised in California. She is the youngest of six children, one brother, and four (one brother, three sisters) half siblings. She graduated from Rim of the World High School in 2002 and headed of to college at BYU-Hawaii that same year. She spent a year in Hawaii and loved it. In 2003 she moved to Utah and began a job as a nanny for four little boys. Fall of 2003 she continued her schooling at Utah Valley State College which also happen to be when and where she met the love of her life, Nate. In the fall of 2004 she had an opportunity to travel to Europe and quickly went. She spent about 3 1/2 months living in Germany and traveling to as many countries as she could. When she returned, she returned to Bountiful Utah and began working full time at a Marriott Hotel. The whole time away she and Nate kept in close contact and tried to date as much as their different lives or locations would allow. Not to long after, she moved to Midvale, then Sandy, then Provo and finally “settled” in Lehi in the summer of 2006 when she and Nate got married.
