Qatar Chamber Board Member and Chairperson of Qatari Businesswomen Forum Ibtihaj Al ahmadani met on Tuesday with President of Arab-Russian Business Council Tatyana Gvilava at the Chamber’s headquarters.
The meeting discussed economic and commercial relations between the Qatari private sector and its Russian counterpart and ways to enhancing them, investment climate in both countries, as well as urging businessmen from both sides to establish mutual investments in both countries.
For her part, Al ahmadani praised the economic relations between Qatar and Russia, citing the successful participation of Qatar Chamber in St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF 2021) which took place from June 2 to 5 June as part of the State of Qatar’s participation in the forum as ‘a guest country’.
She noted that the forum witnessed many meetings between Qatari and Russian businessmen to establish mutual investments in both countries.
She also said that Qatar Chamber is looking forward to strengthening cooperation between Qatar and Russian companies through forging economic and commercial alliances for the benefit of both countries’ economies.
President of Arab-Russian Business Council Tatyana Gvilava expressed the desire of Russian businessmen to learn more about Qatar’s investment climate and opportunities available in all sectors, assuring that Russia is rife with opportunities that can attract Qatari investors.
