Qatar Chamber organised on Tuesday a tour for the Tunisian Economy and Finance Minister HE Ali Al Kaali and his accompanying delegation to the venue of the Qatar’s 8th International Agricultural Exhibition (AgriteQ) which is currently being held at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC).
The delegation also included President of the Tunisian Union of Industry and Commerce HE Samir Majoul.
QC Chairman HE Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim Al Thani and the Tunisian delegation toured the pavilions of the exhibition where they were informed on the displayed products.
The Tunisian delegation showed keen interest in the exhibition and the Qatari agricultural products.
In a statement, QC Chairman HE Sheikh Khalifa said the exhibition offers an important platform that enables businessmen to explore the latest innovations in agriculture and learn about the investment opportunities available in this sector which is one of the most attractive sectors for investment.
HE also Praised the active role played by the Ministry of Municipality and Environment aiming to support the agricultural sector, noting that organising this international expo comes in this context.
It is noteworthy that Qatar Chamber supports the exhibition as a silver sponsor.
Through its booth in the expo, the Qatar Chamber will highlight the services it offers for the business community, as well as the role it performs to encourage Qatari businessmen to invest in agriculture and food security projects.
Sheikh Khalifa also noted that the Chamber’s support for the AgriteQ 2021 confirms its keenness on supporting the agriculture sector and encouraging businessmen to invest in this vital sector which is considered a key catalyst for achieving the food security in the country.
Organised by the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME), the five-day expo is held under the patronage of Prime Minister and Minister of Interior H E Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani.
