Qatar Chamber held a meeting with a delegation from Arab-Mexican Chamber for Industry and Commerce headed by Regional Manager for MENA at Arab-Mexican Chamber Dina Barakat.
The meeting reviewed cooperation ties between the Qatari and Mexican private sectors.
Qatar Chamber First Vice Chairman Mohamed bin Twar Al Kuwari said that there are numerous fields for cooperation between Qatari companies and their Mexican counterparts.
He expressed welcome of Qatar economic sectors to foster cooperation with Mexican side in many sectors including tourism, industry and agriculture, pointing out that there are Mexican products in the Qatari market.
Twar briefed the visiting delegation on Qatar’s economy and incentives offered by the government to attract investments, as well as issued legislative and laws and economic incentives of free and economic zones, adding that the State of Qatar attaches the food security a special interest. It achieved great success in this regard, he added.
In turn, Bina Barakat said that the Arab-Mexican Chamber for Industry and Commerce sought to boost cooperation between Qatar and Mexico and enhancing cooperation ties between businessmen to build new partnerships for the advantage of both economies.
She also noted that a commercial delegation from Mexico will be visiting Qatar in October to explore the Qatari market and meet their Qatari peers to review cooperation relations.
